Pay per Node for Ubercart

Liliplanet - December 6, 2008 - 18:16

Hi,

A big part of my Drupal 5.x eCommerce was the Pay-per-Node module, but have decided to go with Ubercart now in Drupal 6.x.

Have contacted Jose, the developer and he emailed back with the following:

I'm afraid I don't have too much time available, nor I have too much interest in Ubercart, so I think your best option is to find some other developer for this task. I'd hand him cvs commit access or the whole module maintenance..

Is anyone interested perhaps is developing the Ubercart Pay-per-Node module? I'm definitely prepared to pay for this ...

Look forward to any interest ...

Lilian

There is http://drupal.org/project/uc_node_checkout
Check its "documentation" link to see if it suits your needs, maybe combined with the the Rules module or some triggers/actions.

Thank you for your quick

Thank you for your quick reply. Yes, I've seen and tried uc_node_checkout.

The thing is that I prefer to give members a certain amount of nodes (before) that they can create with their specific role.

If you are of role x, you can create x nodes of type. It really makes a recurring role based membership easy and specific.

uc_node_checkout sends you to the cart every time after creating a node and then you have to make payment or use userpoints.

It's a long process and if members add new nodes often, it's not really going to work for me.

Perhaps anyone that is interested in creating this module please?

As mentioned before the developer of pay-per-node, Jose, is prepared to give access to the whole cvs commit and files.

Look forward to your reply.
Lilian
