Working poorly now with WotLK upadates to WowDB

Okay, couple of things... wow, this is a great idea, and would be useful for many who would choose to use drupal as their platform for guild hosting.

However, with the updates to the major sites since the WotLK expansion... barely half of the items I'm trying to test linking with work...

Anything with an apostrophe (Shadowseeker's Pendant) is not getting searched properly., and just appears like this in the content: [item]Shadowseeker's Pendant[/item]

Anything that is a trinket, or has a spell talent/use on click talent associated with it will form up a link using the default styling based on my site's css, but not an appropriate link, and this is why.

[Essence of Gossamer] If you actually search this directly on wowdb, you get a page with the tabs, showing on the first section, the actual trinket that is trying to be linked. the link is http://www.wowdb.com/search.aspx?search_text=essence+of+gossamer

You have 1 result under items, 2 under recipes, 2 under abilities, and 2 under talents & uncategorized spells.

This is a bit of a shortness as well on their side at wowdb in the way things of this nature are being classified. So essentially, it is not pulling out the appropriate single match from the results, not getting an id number, and not forming a link.

Has ANYONE worked on something similar using wowhead instead? I really don't have the time to write up a custom module to handle it... the search feature is important (auto lookup) because I'm the programmer in the guild, and most of them would be challenged to go look up item id's directly.

I would also like to see something mentioned in another post regarding the new features being added like spells, achievements, quests, etc.

Any thoughts? anyone... I can see that nothing has been updated here in weeks, and the dev version is quite old... any alternatives out there that really work with drupal out of the box? or with minor tinkering?
