Tried to send merlinofchaos a PM but obviously you've disabled it and anyway there are obviously a lot of you working on developing Views further so it might be better here.

I just wanted to say a very big thanks to you all for the wonderful Views 2 module. I started with Drupal 15 months ago and only recently got to grips with Views once I had mastered Drupal. I am very pleased I stuck with Drupal. It's been a steep one for me but it's certainly beginning to pay off. I have less and less questions (and am even answering a few) and I understand more and more. Views is in another class altogether! The flexibility of it is amazing and the more I learn and use it the more applications and uses I can see for it in my small web design way.

Thanks very much for the time and effort you put in maintaining Drupal and Views. I can't believe you all do it for free and I am in awe of your skills in programming (developing is something I hope to explore sometime in the future once I've mastered PHP obviously).

BTW, views is pretty much all merlinofchaos. Others have contributed but he's the main guy and, yeah, it's amazing how much work he does around here. Not just views but Panels and nodequeue and others.
