If you set biblio in admin page to use users' last name to map them to a publication and do not permit them to set it themselves in their profile. The module cannot map their name to their publication. Besides, the admin user can not set it in their profile too!

Indeed, I see the problem and have fixed it.

Now the admin can make changes on the users profile form but the user will not (they will see the values but the form elements are disabled).
