Providing user feedback

I have had several situations where the user is unaware that his post or comment has been queued for review. Currently they are only presented with a blank screen on the website with no explanation.

It would be nice to have a statement displayed stating that his post has been made and is held awaiting administrator approval.

This would sure save a lot of time and headache explaining what has happened to their post.
