override for content_profile-display-view.tpl.php not working

I'm a relative newbie so apologies if I'm just not doing this right.

I'm trying to override the default profile display on the account page. When I add the content_profile-display-view.tpl.php from the module to my theme (I've tried a couple) and clear the cache, the profile display just disappears from the account page. It's finding the override OK because I can add straight html to it and it shows up.
