Jeff Burnz commentedThis is something I've talked about a couple of time, http://drupal.org/node/317332 and also http://drupal.org/node/300584#comment-985100
I know finding old issues can be tricky, if you're in the issue queue, select ALL from the status menu so you can view Closed issues.

mokko commentedThanks a lot for the good info - on searching closed issues and secondary menus in general as well as PR!
So true secondary menus which react to select in primary menus are not necessary due to superfish! What I am looking for are "independent secondary menus" like the can be created with other themes.
I think, there would be space on the right, above the search box. A little bit like in bluemarine. I might have a look if I can get it working. Any tips for me?
thanks!

Jeff Burnz commentedNot really, just go for it. You can grab a snippet to print secondary menus out of many other themes.
Actually I never thought of doing them above the search box, thats not bad thinking, could be a bit like Garlands primary menu?

michaels-musings.com commentedCompletely off topic to the issue, but an additional note on searching.
Google does a better job of returning results than drupal.org's search function (go figure, Google earns billions doing that, I guess they got good at it). In general any search you do here, just add "drupal" as the first keyword in the google search box. You can also limit Google's searches to just drupal.org by entering "site:drupal.org searchterm1 searchterm2 ..."
