Description

Uploading a file already in FLV format should work, even if no transcoding has been set up.
What happens is that the node just says the video isn't available yet, even though it's perfectly playable.

I am also in need of this. We are planning to do the transcoding ourselves due to extreme file size. It would take forever to upload and eat up a lot of bandwidth.

Is there anyway to adjust the code so that it bypasses the need for transcoding? I am fairly hand with editing code, so if you could point me in the right direction that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

This is a really important feature. I think a lot of people have been held back from using op_video because of its absence. It will happen eventually.

field.inc is where you should start. I'm available for hire if you want me to do it.

okay - its done!

Users with 'administer video' permission now have a 'Video is Flash-ready' checkbox.
