Hi there,

a panels style using vertical tabs would be a fantastic asset to Panels. How would one go about making that happen?

This seems like it'd be a cool feature. I'm not really a big fan of Panels so I'm not likely to invest time into this myself. However, if looking to help with this, you can do some research on the Panels APIs, then provide a patch here (http://drupal.org/patch/create). The patch will then be reviewed by maintainers (dmitri01 and myself) and committed to the project.

This module is now pretty much exclusively a back-port of the Drupal 7 feature of Vertical Tabs. This feature won't be added to the Vertical Tabs module.
