So, I had a problem on two test sites I have that are close to the same. On one, I got "n/a" in emails. On the other I got nothing in the body.
I was troubleshooting by disabling various modules, changing the filters and options, etc.
Finally the only thing that would do it is actually deleting Mimemail. Disabling it didn't work and uninstalling it didn't work either. It had to actually be deleted from sites/all/modules.
So two issues I guess:
- shouldn't disabling it disable it?
- how about that "n/a"/empty body issue? I see that may be related to themes or input filters but I'm not sure.

HS commentedLooking at the issue que there seems to be little or no assistance for this module of late. Does anyone know of a suitable alternative to this module which can send html emails? I use aFCKeditor which is a WYSIWG editor for Drupal and whenever an email is sent out, it has a heap of html code instead of displaying html.

jerdavisThe issues you were seeing should be corrected in the latest development snapshot. Give it a try when it's posted and let me know if you see any issues.

kenorb commentedIf you had even problems after uninstalling mimemail, probably this is duplicate of: #456260: WSOD: smtp_library variable is not removed when mimemail has been disabled
