I've been happily using the insert view filter on my site for a bit, and no problems so far. But now I find I want to combine HTML coded text with a view in together in the body field. To do so, I created a new input filter set combining the HTML filter with the Insert View filter. However, I can't so far get it to work correctly. Putting the Insert View filter first, followed by the HTML filter, means no view appears (I am working with a slideshow view). Putting the Insert View filter first, the slideshow appears, but the HTML coding is messed up.

Any tips on combining the Insert View filter with HTML filter?

My usual practice has been to put the insert view filter last in the arrangement of filters and haven't had any conflicts.

Are there any other filters in use on these input formats? how is the "HTML messed" up when you put the insert view filter last?
