Why not work with wordfilter?

I ve tried to use wordfilter as a base for my idea but it s too far away from what I am thinking. Reasons for writing a new module:

1.) The whole process filter thing from wordfilter was replaced by my stuff.

2.) To much changes and add ons to the Admin UI.

3.) Phonetic Wordfilter does more with less ... no tables, less code and so on.

the phonetic wordfilter module will be more actively maintained after releasing the dev for 6.x and 7.x . It won't be downported to 5.x but I ll release a patch for wordfilter 5.x .

The phonetic wordfilter only replaces the word with ******, I like the word filter idea better where it replaces the word with something we choose. Can you add that feature in phonetic wordfilter ?

I will provide both ways in the next version.
