Is there any chance how to show donwnload count of each file in basic table where is file name, size and upload date? I tried to make changes to source code but it didnt work.

At this point the only way for the download count to be displayed is via a custom query or usage of the 'Views' module. I'm toying with the idea of making the browser columns configurable but am not committed.
