Companion release to the great new Version Control API 5.x-2.0-alpha1. It's also Repoview's first release ever, despite its version number (which is 2.0-alpha1 just to keep in sync with upstream versions). In case I didn't mention it prominently on the project page, this module is currently unsupported as well as experimental, and lacks a couple of important features.
Those features won't be implemented in the 5.x versions though (unless someone contributes unexpected patches), so what the heck, if you want to use this on your own responsibility then well, why not roll a proper release for a known working version. After all, Repoview is just under-featured but not dangerous to your site in any way. If you prefer Drupal integration with a minimal set of features over a properly equipped external repository viewer, here you are!
At the time of writing, the SVN backend's 5.x-2.0-alpha1 release provides the necessary functionality to enable repository browsing (the CVS backend does not support those features yet, and the Git/hg backends are not yet ported to the 5.x-2.x API).
...and first of all, contribute your improvements in case you fix one of this module's many shortcomings! With a little more functionality and an eye on usability, this could become really nice one day.
