I have seen some Drupal sites have an seperate Teaser field when writing a new article. Is done by a module or something ? Cause i havent seen this yet in my installation. I can only control teaser length, but not write the teaser when creating articles. Any tips on how this is done ?

To create a separate teaser, while adding a node, click the 'Split summary at cursor button' and uncheck the 'Show summary in full view' option.

Some sites have 2 fields here, right above the text area they have an Teaser Area as well were the teaser goes.
Maybe i am just blind hehe.

Ahhh... you didn't mention you were using a wysiwyg editor. I can't tell which one it is from the screencap, but I can tell you fckeditor (that's the one I use) has a "teaser" button and still displays the "Show summary in full view" option. You'll probably have to check the docs and/or issue queue for your editor.

As I said, this works fine
As I said, this works fine with the fckeditor module (i've not tried the wysiwyg module with fckeditor yet). I find the current version of fckeditor to be far superior to the bloated and buggy tinymce editor now.
