Description

Decided I'd try merging a couple of forums by merging their terms... result was that a bunch of posts and comments were deleted. Is that 'normal' or does it mean I did something wrong?

Hi, seems the route of the term has changed. If it isnt too many posts you could change them via admin/content/node

or you could reinstate the term in its original place and make a link with the related term via 'Synonyms' option.

Well, the posts I lost were not important.. and this is a dev system anyway, but I do have a fair number of forums (terms in the forum taxonomy) that I want to merge... and they have lots of posts. That's why I want to use this mod rather than doing them one by one. The latter is out of the question. I either have to do it with this mod or similar one or via sql in the db. (Haven't quite figured out how to do the latter)

Should mention: I love this mod for cleaning up my extremely messy non-forum categories, though. Works great for that.
