I just installed the excerpt.module (great idea!), but in pages which were already created, I can't edit the content of the excerpt. It pulls the excerpt that was originally generated, but then I can't change it. The module works fine if it is a new page. I tried to follow some of the other discussions on this, but neither the node.module patch worked (created a different error) nor the patch in http://drupal.org/node/18571. Not even sure if it is the same issue.

Running Drupal 4.6.x
