Hello.
Accordingly with this usage report : http://drupal.org/project/usage/storm
there are only few users of Storm version 5 and honestly I don't have enough time
to keep two versions updated.
So I'll concentrate my efforts only on version 6.

ron collins commenteddamn! i'm sad to hear that. i was just setting it up and really appreciating it. is there another pm for d5? i don't suppose you would consider simply putting a freeze on new features and continuing to backport some of the more critical bug fixes?
either way, thanks for your contribution.

michelleI don't use this module... Just happened across the issue in the global tracker. But I thought I'd point out that the usage statistics rely on update_status, which is contrib only in D6, and therefore are not as accurate for D5. So you may have more users than you think. :)

jorditr commentedI've completed backported all of storm 6 (well, I think so) to a custom-storm-5 version, though I've added a few new features. I'm not capable to support it alone. I don't know if we could find a solution. Maybe it would be a good moment to open a "Storm community", similar to the Ubercart one... But that's up to Roberto.

Roberto Gerola commentedHi.
It isn't a problem to open Storm to the community, I mean creating a forum and repository.
I can provide also hosting space, but, considering the Drupal 7 is coming, has it sense to spend
time and effort on Drupal 5 version ?
Jordi, if you want to commit on cvs your changes and become mantainer of Drupal 5 version
you are welcome.
Let me know what do you think about creating a community website for Storm
and becoming official contributor, I'll grant you cvs access in case.
Thanks, Roberto.

xmacinfoI'm using Strom with Drupal 6 as well.
But having a big Storm community like Ubercart would be awesome. :-)

sansui commentedSorry to hear that version 5 is stopped :( We've been eyeing storm for a few months and liking the promise that it has, and will probably install v5 this month for use.

Roberto Gerola commentedHi.
If you are interested in Storm, I suggest you to use the Drupal 6 version.
It has a lot of new features and is actively developed and supported.
