I understand. I would also welcome a release for Drupal 6. Could you let me know roughly how many hours it might take to produce such a release, and I might be able to put some cash together to make it worth your while?
No promises yet! I'll need to see how much I can afford. Thanks!
The whole process consists of the following:
1) Converting the module from Drupal 5.x to Drupal 6.x
2) Converting the module from the Ubercart 1.x API to the Ubercart 2.x API (this should be the shortest part, since they tried not to mess too many things up)
3) Combing through the code, cleaning up.
This module has code of various quality by multiple individuals which means that bugs pop out, and both you and I get annoyed ;)
This would be a chance to try and fix that.
That is a general plan for a drupal 6.x version. Done either by you, me, or anybody else. I could take it on for 500$, although you are free to enlist the help of someone else (I'd do it all for free if I had the time..).
I have been contacted by a person whose client will pay the 500$ to make the drupal 6 port a reality.
If all goes well, expect the new version in about 7 days.

Noira, that0n3guy, I've contacted you.
Looks like we'll have a Drupal 6 port in the near future.

tommy kaneko commentedThat sounds great! Obviously, if you don't need my money, I won't give it to you, but I can put $60 forward for now (if it is needed)
