I imported a song yesterday and everything imported perfectly. All metadata filled in beautifully, and everything worked great. Today I tried to import and the title was listed as [audio-tag-title-raw] by [audio-tag-artist-raw]. Upon researching the node, I noticed none of the metadata was filled in. I went through my site and COMPLETELY UNINSTALLED every contributed module, including audio module. I then re-installed only the modules necessary for getid3, audio, and audio import to work, reset all settings, and imported a song, and everything worked perfectly again. I noticed the taxonomy option was removed (uninstalling the audio module removed the checkbox indicating that the taxonomy was for audio nodes), so I went back and checked the box to associate that taxonomy with the audio nodes again. When I did this, I tried importing a song again, and again the metadata was NOT filled in. I tried importing without selecting any taxonomy, and tried importing selecting taxonomy, and it failed in both instances. I then went back and unchecked the audio node box in the taxonomy, imported a song, and sure enough, everything imported perfectly again.

I sure hope someone is able to get their brain wrapped around this one, and get it solved. I know I am keenly interested in this issue. I've not tried it specifically to the same extent, but that does sound like what happened on my end, b/c at the time when the artist/title portion was working, I do think the taxonomy option for audio was unchecked...

It's also doing the same thing for me, so I can confirm this. I'm not sure how you figured it out that it was the taxonomy thing. Nice job.

To whomever is working on this module,

What could we do to help figure out what is going on? I don't think I can spare the additional time right now, but I do hope to get a home-built web server setup at home for testing things in drupal and such before putting them up to live sites sometime in the near future. I've just gotta find the extra hours to do so. ;0)

Is there any information we can provide to help you figure out and solve the problem(s)?

Just putting my two cents in - I too have this problem. I am able to work around it for now, but would love to know where to start on fixing it!

#433402: Taxonomy values aren't saved and Token integration doesn't work with audio_import. was a duplicate of this but i didn't notice. that was fixed so grab the -dev release once it's posted.

I just really got to test the import function again, since this fix. And so far, on the first file, it works the best that I can remember for importing the id3 info. Thanks for all your hard work!
