For several days I've got a weird problem in IE7 on Vista 64b - the style (Roople's WhiteJazz) is totally broken.
It does not happen in latest Firefox or Google Chrome, only in latest Internet Explorer 7.
It's taken me half of the day today (uninstalling plenty of modules, switching off blocks, even trying different themes) but it is really a problem of Nice Menus somehow.
You can see the problem yourself in IE7 at http://vacilando.net/
Interestingly, it does work well on generated pages - like http://vacilando.net/contact - but not on content pages.
Also interestingly, if I switch off the header, where the menu appears, the page (well, the rest of it) is still broken. The problem ONLY goes away if I unselect the module from the module list. This might hint at some problem in the javascript that loads whether or not the menu displays...? (But why just on content pages and not on other ones?)
I found this with Nice Menus 1.2, tried 1.3 and also 2.x-dev, but all have the same problem.
If you need more details, please don't hesitate to ask.

add1sun commentedUnless the problem is also seen in core themes, these kinds of issues are support requests, not bugs.

vacilando commentedIt's been a month and the above site is still crippled in Internet Explorer 7. Indeed, the same happens also in Garland 6.8, which is a system theme. See the above pages in MSIE 7 to judge for yourself. I tested this on 3 different machines - once under Vista 64b and twice under XP 32b. The problem does disappear upon disabling Nice Menus module. This might be related to #343724: Internet Explorer 7 bug and close when using nice menus and displaying a form in the main page although in my case IE does not throw errors. Please let me know if you need more info, I am eager to get this solved finally...

drupalnesia commentedWhitejazz and Litejazz are not compatible for IE7 at this moment. You better try to use another themes or contact the theme creator for bug fix.

vacilando commentedThank you, Drupal-id.com. The problem as described above, however, occurs also in Garland 6.8 in IE7.

vacilando commentedWell, the problem's gone. I am not sure how though -- the only thing I think I did was go to /admin/settings/nice_menus to check whether the "Enable IE support" checkbox was selected (it was) and, at a whim, I saved that form (despite the fact that I did not change anything). And today I see things work in IE7. What fun!
