Can someone please help me enable Unicode characters in nodes or Book?
Currently when I type in a foreign language, using the Window's built-in Unicode character set, they show as ??????
I used FCKEditor and TinyMCE with the same results.

But if I remove the editors and use the simple UI, it works. Like it does here -> Հայրերէն կը գրեմ

Any idea which setting needs to be changed or added to make this possible with the editors?

Take a look at your database with phpmyadmin. Check the "node_revisions" table and also its individual columns. Is their collation utf8_general_ci?

You could also ask support in fckeditor's issues queue, since the problem does not appear without a WYSIWYG editor. If you do, describe the exact steps you are taking when the problem happens.

Thanks for the reply, I will check the DB option and if there isn't a utf8_general_ci, should I put it in and where?
I will post this issue in fckeditor's forum as well.

I tried utf8_general_ci and utf8_unicode_ci, none worked so far. FCK forum is not replying.
