I'm really happy that there's a FlashField now.
One thing that I think could make it better, would be to add an associated (not seperate) field within which to enter alternate content (The content that would get indexed by a search engine, or seen in a browser that wasn't flash enabled)

That makes sense, and the code already has the facility to drop in alternate text. At the moment the alt text comes from a central setting, but it would be a good idea to expose it, along with the other settings, and make it configurable.

Will add it to the development list!
