I was just wondering. I saw there is just a version for Drupal 4.6 made 3 years ago, and a HEAD release made 2 years ago.
I would think that the project is not active anymore.
The last version (which is in HEAD, and it is not even a development snapshot), has been made two years ago.
The reports in the issue queue don't even get an answer from the maintainer, or the issues they describe don't get fixed.
The project should be marked like abandoned, and maybe removed from the server.
I didn't open this report to get the ownership of the project.
Despite the maintainer has replied, he didn't say what his intentions are.
The fact he doesn't reply to the reports in the project issue queue is a clear sign he is not interested in maintaining the project anymore; differently, he would check the issue queue, and at least leave a comment (even just to say that he is busy doing something else, and that he can work on the project at the moment).
I have not seen requests to refresh this project to Drupal5/6/7 and I not need new version for myself. By these reasons project was freezed. I have not see problems with removing Latex project from the project list if that need.
Until the version of LaTex for Drupal 4.6 is not declared not supported, the issue reports about that version should receive an answer; if that version is not supported anymore, then the project page should report that fact.
This is another evidence that the maintainer doesn't follow anymore the project, which is in abandoned state.
The contributors are answering you in this issue. This tells me that they are still a part of the community and that the module isn't abandoned. It's just simply not widely used.
