i downloaded and installed flexinode. i turned on the module i added flexinode under content > content type. i then see a bunch of other add text field, image and so on. i assume under create content > flexinode > the page will be displayed just like any other page.

what is the next step and how to create my own template? i search for flexinode and i am overwhelmed and kind of lost to what the next simple step that i can arrange my contents using flexinode.

Actually the page to create a new flexinode node is create content -> [whatever you named your content type]

For instance, in a student website I made a while ago, used flexinode to allow easy creation of teacher profile pages by the students. The path was create content -> teacher profile page.

[whatever you named your content type] in this case which i named is "flexinode". you only need to do this once, right?

The flexinode module lets you create a content type ... it's NOT a content type on its own.

Example ... I want to let people upload favorite recipes. I can go to admin > content > content types and create a content type called "recipe". Once I configure the fields the way I want them and set proper access permissions, my users will now see the "create recipe" option under the create content link ... just as if "recipe" were a forum topic, story, blog post, etc.

Does that make more sense? It took me awhile to get my head around Flexinode too ... but once I understood it, I fell in love with it.

ok so you can create as many content types as they fit your need. i did misunderstand for sure, i thought you are allowed to create it only once. that's out of the way.

what is flexinode theme all about? does this mean i can create my own template to display the content from the flexinode content type? if so, where and how to do this?
