Rotating Banner does not work in FF Mac

i'm trying to figure out what the issue is here, and it appears to me that Firefox 3 for Mac / OSX does not seem to work with the rotating banner.

I've tried on a windows machine and gotten successful results under IE7 and FF3 and under Mac it works fine in Safari.

Its been awhile since i've used this theme and I think I remember it working fine on FF2 for Mac, but I can't confirm that.

I've tried editing some of the files to see if i could figure out the issue, but I can't. This included providing a full path in the CSS image url, and also in trying to apply the style directly to the element. This hasn't worked though.
