'Replace matches - Only the First Match' and [no-glossary] not working together properly

I configured the glossary setting to have 'Replace matches - Only the First Match' and it did work as expected. Although I did notice that some terms in my teaser were getting linked to the glossary which I did not want.

So I wrapped the teaser block with a [no-glossary][/no-glossary] tag assuming that the terms in this block would be skipped but the next first occurrence of the terms would be linked to the Glossary. To my surprise none of the terms were getting high-lighted at all.

It looks as if, though the block enclosed with a [no-glossary][/no-glossary] tag is skipped, the terms in this block is still accounted for as an occurrence and with the setting 'Only the First Match' none of terms are getting linked to the Glossary.

I would also like to ask another question with this...

The Glossary settings has options to skip a block of text or particular HTML tags. Is there an option to do the reverse? i.e. By default the Glossary filter will NOT process anything unless its told explicitly to do so by some defined tags?
