wdevn commentedWe have just installed Nodeaccess again on another Drupal 6.8 site and the Nodeaccess module also doesn't list any roles under "Allowed Roles." When we go to "Admin>Content", to a node created with the Page Content Type, we can see the "Grant" tag but still no roles are listed there either!
I should meantion that we have tested two Drupal 6.8 site on the same shared hosting setup. Would this matter? Both share the same MySql (5.0.41) server and use PHP 5.2.3. We do not have any other node access modules uploaded or in use. What would cause roles not to be listed under "Allowed Roles"?

fridaynightdave commentedi had a similar problem. i was looking at the Nodeaccess page in IE and the roles were not showing up under "Allowed Roles" on the Nodeaccess page. i looked at the html source and the roles seemed to be accounted for (checkboxes, etc) but IE was unable to display them. i switched over to Firefox and the roles rendered just fine. i am using a modified AquaMarina theme and i didn't try to determine whether it's some sort of theme/browser interaction or not.

dbt102 commentedThanks for your post fridaynightdave...
I couldn't get roles to dispaly in IE (v7.0.6x) either. My experience was same as described in posts above. Seems to be working ok with Firefox (v3.0.5).

I just did a check and it looks like you are right. The fields display fine in Firefox! This display fields (Allow Role) DO NOT show in IE! I hope this will be corrected. Not that I love IE.

vlad.pavlovic commentedI believe that this issue has been repaired in subsequent releases, please update to latest version and if issue is still active, create a new one with the appropriate version number.
I am trying to clean up the issue queue, and this one is archaic.
