Hi. I'm trying to get the outline function in book module to work. When I click add a child page, the parent page always shows "top-level" or the same about us page on my site. It is supposed the show the page that I clicked "add a child page" on. No matter how many child pages I add to the outline, only those 2 pages show up.
I have another site made from the same code which works correctly. I cannot think of what changes I could have made to cause this problem.
I did make some changes in template.php ( a switch to a special book.tpl.php to not print author name and date on book pages), but I've undone those changes.
I cannot think of anything else that I could have done to break outline.
On my non-book pages, I see the outline tab, but I have the same problem -- only 2 pages ever show up as my parent page option. (By the way I don't see an outline tab on book pages. I don't know if that is expected behavior.)
I've searched and searched but I can't find anything like this problem.
When I look in mysql, the parent nid is correctly recorded. But it is does not show up as an option, or as the selected, in the parent page dropdown box on the edit page.
