As discussed in #858546: Compatability issues between KalturaCE v1.5 and Drupal Kaltura 6.x-1.5 and explained in detail in this comment, 6.x-1.5 contained code which was incompatible with KalturaCE 1.x series.

This release restores support for sites still using KalturaCE 1.x and Kaltura EE 1.x.

Sites using KalturaCE 2.x, Kaltura SaaS or Kaltura EE 2.x should NOT upgrade from 1.5 to this release, or from 1.5 to 1.6.

Sites using KalturaCE 2.x, Kaltura SaaS or Kaltura EE 2.x should instead move to the 2.x series of the Kaltura Drupal module.

This release is a reversion to DRUPAL-6--1-4 with fixes applied for the following issues:
* #358937: node_kaltura table schema doesn't support nid's > 65535
* #392736: Remove hidden stats iframes

It also resolves or relates to the following issues:
* #858546: Compatability issues between KalturaCE v1.5 and Drupal Kaltura 6.x-1.5
* #887362: 1.5 and 2.x-dev are the same source code
