content types disappear!

Using 6.x-1.x-dev as of Dec 13 01:14:

When statistics_advanced is active, on occasion many of the content types in use just vanish, making the website unusable. That caused a certain degree of panic at my site, forcing restores from backups.

I now have a copy of our website on a test machine, and on that machine I can reproduce the following:

- I go to modules page, enable statistics_advanced. Nearly all content types disappear, messing up website
- I go to modules page, disable statistics_advanced. Content types reappear.
