I'm using the mac version of flock (version .48) with drupal 4.6.3
xml-rpc api: movable type
blog id: 4 (for my userid)
accesspoint: www.mydomain.com/xmlrpc.php
flock seems to set up correctly. it senses different content types, it even sees old posts.
but when i click publish it says "Oops! There has been an error posting to your blog. Please double check your account settings, or try again later."

same problem
The publish feature in Flock doesnt work for me either. Has anyone been able to get Flock working with Drupal? If so please post your settings.
ps. I was able to auto add my site using this patch http://drupal.org/node/34749
same problem still
indeed, the auto-configure feature seems nice (although it picks up metaweblog instead of movabletype as its protocol of default) and i've successfully patched my module...but flocks still unable to publish, same entry as before. darn!
Same here
I tried changing both the blogapi and flock to use Moveable Type, but still getting the error when I try to publish. It also only lets me log in with my admin account, not my other account that I use to publish stories.

Just Downloaded the Latest Version of Flock
And it is working just fine for me now. It autodects and publishes perfectly.

I have gotten it to work
I have been posting to my 3 blogs (2 Drupal, 1 Wordpress) for a day or so.
The auto configure wont work, but when you hit "cancel" , you can manually input the info.
In my setting I have :
Title:
Username:
Password:
Blog ID: blog
API URI: http://thelefthanded.com/xmlrpc.php
API: Moveable Type
-TLh
I tried the manual config with no luck
I get the same results. The connection seems to work, but when I publish a story, I get an error.

Double check
your blog api settings within your drupal set up.
This could be causing the issue.

my settings
I have blogapi set to use Moveable Type and for the stories.

that's really vague...
what do you mean, recheck my settings?
that's really vague... i rechecked them.
i had the set to movable type and configured the flock interface for that.
i thought by "recheck the settings" that you meant I should switch the settings to metaweblog (since the interface seems to find that first) so i tried that.
but that didn't do anything either. same error.
Perhaps it's a Flock Bug
I saw a bug report filed against flock that indicates that there is something wrong in the format of the publish request that it's sending. So, I'm hopeful that if it is a bug, it could be fixed in the next version of flock.

i get the error:
i get the error:

I suggest you look at the
I suggest you look at the flock website for why their beta product is having issues.

new version works
the new release of flock (0.4.10) does work with drupal. the content it produces is a little funky (hard to read when in drupal due to the hard < br /> tags and so forth), but it works.
seems like a nice free interface to drupal, among it's other virtues.
Blog API Module enabled?
You might also want to check and see that your Blog API Module is enabled for the site you want to connect to.
I was able to get Flcok hooked up to one Drupal site but not another:
I set my API to the MoveableType API and it works.
