Multiple blocks, multiple presets

Description

I need to use the "Taxonomy Image: Node Images" block in different contexts: i.e. different themes, different imagecache presets. I can easily control the block placement on a per-theme basis. However, the same block configuration (same preset) will apply across all themes. Ideally, I would be able to define additional TI blocks as needed... (IIRC something like that is done in adsense module). Would that be a reasonable feature request? Are there other non-programming solutions? Thank you.

I think it is probably a reasonable feature request, but, ATM, I have no idea how to do it.

Have you, by any chance, tried the Multiblock module?

sounds promising... could you please check the bottom of the Multiblock README, where it talks about "developing multiblock-enabled blocks"? I can't really make sense of it, but I guess it will be clear to you, and maybe it will be a simple addition to Taxonomy Image, maybe... Thank you NancyDru !

I am working on that right now. I already have it working in 5.x and am porting it to 6.x.

Committed to both branches. You will need the Multiblock module - and be aware that it needs some fixing (fixed, zipped 5.x version attached).

Follow up: They now have created -dev releases for Multiblock which should have all the updates in them.
