Two small issues I see right away; I've yet to delve in to the code but plan to later today.
1. Unlike your demo site, the loading status notification doesn't display correctly - but instead drops down and creates about a 300px or so rectangle. Same in all browsers tested. (see attached)
2. In Safari, the page never stops loading - the load wheel spins indefinitely. This could be the modules rather than the theme itself.

By the way... Wysiwig + TinyMCE don't seem to be working.
But, a theme supporting AJAX is the best! Congrats.
