So first of all, let me tell you what I am trying to do...I am using usernode guestbook and am trying to make it so that users receive an email when someone writes in their guestbook (comments on their usernode). How can I make it so that emails are ONLY sent out to a user when a user comments on his/her usernode? I don't want emails to be sent every time someone comments where that user commented, but only when someone writes in their guestbook. I hope that makes sense.

I'm not sure I understand you correctly, but apparently, you want to have Auto-subscribe turned off and a Page subscription entered for the user's usernode.

I don't know usernode guestbook, but I'm sure that module could be extended to create such subscriptions, if Subscriptions is active.

I don't see anything that Subscriptions could do for you in this matter.
