third column display driving me crazy!

I'm using a subtheme of Zen and the columns work great in FF (of course) but when I open in IE or Safari, the sidebar-right column is displaying beneath my #main div. I can't figure out would could be causing this? I even trying reverting to the original zen layout.css file and that didn't fix it. Would really appreciate any help on this one. thanks
