From the description I see that this theme wasn't tested with IE6, but it's really a mess on the screen and a loooot of peaple still using it :) Could you please check it and fix it? I'm sure that there wouldn't be a lot of changes.

ghostks commentedI've checked original WP template and it's looking almost ok in IE6, only right block displayed at the bottom of the page :)

So, in my opinion something was forgotten with this drupal theme version.

ktleow commentedAll themes ported by me were created from scratch again. I did not even look at their source code.
I only took the PSD source file and clean it up, adjusted the width to match 960 grid system and slice them accordingly.
So about this issue, I'll have to test it out in IE6.
Currently I do not have IE6 installed. Will do that once I got my virtual machine.
Thanks for reporting this.

ktleow commentedHi again,
I've done some major changes to the theme, rewrote several styles and re-sliced the images.
Also tested with IE6 and most web browsers, its working fine to me.
If you've found anymore incompatibility issues, feel free to reopen the issue with further details.
Oh and please wait for Drupal.org to run the packaging script , then I'll release version 2 of Color Paper.
Thanks!

d13n commentedProblem with IE6 still exists on my site http://straight-country.de/
Elements from sidebar is way down at bottom of page.
Also PNGs are not transparent but should be because of included pngFix.js.
With Firefox 3, Opera 9, Google Chrome and even IE7 it looks just fine.
But way too many people still use IE6...
Maybe someone can look after this, please.
Thanks,
Dietmar.

d13n commentedHey ktleow,
of course I'm using the newest Version 6.x-2.0-beta4 from 2009-Jan-17 and I have updated the Version-Field in the post accordingly.
Sorry about that.
Meanwhile, I have discovered that an oversized image in the content area caused the right sidebar to go way down...
This seems to be a well known css-float bug in IE6 and before.
It disappeared from my site, when I used a smaller image in the content area, but this is not really a fix.
So I'm playing with some iefix.css codes at the moment also to get some minor display irritations fixed with IE.
Although I must confess, I'm not really good at css (yet).
But I also got the PNG-transparency to work, just by telling png-fix to also fix my custom logo.
This was MY FAULT, sorry.
