Im not sure if this is a bug, but I think so.

I use COD as payment method. All worked great with ubercart version before 6.x - 2.0 beta1. Then I did the upgrade to beta1. Now when customer going to checkout, the "payment - processing progress" never finish. Then when I submit the order it seams to work fine anyway, except one important thingg: The email going out to customer is blank, the email suppost to contain the orderinformation.

When I go to orderhistory, view the customers order and go to Invoice and hit "mail invoice" I recive the proper email. Site is live and I dont have a clue about how to solve it. Please if anyone know what the problem might be give me a hint. Im not a programmer, having hard time to understand the problem.

I don't think there's a bug here, but maybe a support issue about why that AJAX is hanging for you. Perhaps you can search the forums or post your request there?
