Hi! I've installed AD Blueprint and the Theme Settings API module. I like the way the site is starting to look but I would really like to make the right side bar wider and change its background color to white. I've bumbled around in the CSS for a while, being vaguely guided by firebug, but no change I make seems to have any effect.

Can you help me with this?

I have the same problem. How do you edit the width of the sidebars. Right and left sidebar

I am also interested in knowing if it is possible to change sidebar width and colour through the theme configuration page.

It is not possible to change this with the theme configuration page. Naturally there is only so much attention that we can pay towards free themes. I suggest you hire someone to make these changes or poke around in the forums. The sidebars are set-up in a similar way to the zen theme which is very well documented, so that might be a good place to start.
