I am looking to put build a module that will allow users on my site to improve themselves. They need to be able to input 2 criteria (text) and then report progress (numerical) on each of these on a weekly basis, each friday, for 8 weeks. The dates for the reporting could be set up by the administrator. An event (a mail) should be triggered, each thursday, to remind people to report. A reminder-mail should be sent monday morning for those who have failed to report.

I have spent some time to browse around looking at existing modules, and is curious if anyone has seen a module like this one, or one (or more) that you would consider to be a good starting point. Any tip, really, would be much appreciated.
