Hi, I have recently converted one of my sites from plain php/mysql to a full blown Drupal site. The site is at http://www.skibits.co.uk.
The main criteria I had was to be able to update the site easily. I've made use of several modules including the ecommerce module which has proved excellent. It was incredibly easy to setup with the paypal settings and I now have the site working like a dream and taking money with it. I have also included the use of Flexinode for one of the sections and this has provide a very useful addition.
While developing the site took longer than I had hoped this was mainly down to my lack of knowledge at the time with the changing the standard themes and also becoming familiar with what I can do with Flexinode.
Anyway have a look at http://www.skibits.co.uk and let me know what you think. Still lots to do and it has given me much more time to concentrate on adding new functionality. Typically in the past I have always written anything that I needed, no point now focus on the main issues.
Regards,
Bernard

Nice effort.
Nice effort.
I liked the fact that you don't force the user to create an account until at the point of checkout, encouraging the user to stay longer and look around.
Is this the way ecommerce module works or is it custom work that you did?
Thanks for the comments.
Thanks for the comments. That was the way things worked when I installed the ecommerce module which is the way I like things. Get people interested first, let them browse and add to the cart and then they are less likely to walk away at checkout time.
The biggest thing I have not yet worked out how to override on the ecommerce module is the postage costs as I want to override the paypal settings I have.
Very easy to setup the ecommerce module though.
Thanks for that
Thanks for that clarification.
