Issue Summary
Aloha,
just before I mess things up:
I am currently running Drupal 5.x with many, many Acidfree (5.x) albums. Do I first upgrade to Drupal 6 and then replace the Acidfree module? Or is it the other way round?
Cheers,
Chris

Don't upgrade. At least not on a production system...
If it is just a test box, by all means, go right ahead. I have not actually tested it. But it may very well just work, since I didn't change the database schema.
I would say you upgrade drupal first and then acidfree.

Did Acidfree 5.x to 6.x upgrade work? Anything one should know before attempting this?

Acidfree is back under active maintenance; I've updated a single site from 5.x to 6.x that had many images, but it appears to have created many minor quirks. We're still working on it.
