A user could add a node/story to a list of favorite nodes/stories accessible via a box. Kuro5hin, for instance, allows you, as a user, to hotlist a story by clicking a "+Hotlist link [and] the story will be added as a hotlist link in your navigation bar on the right hand side of your screen."


Like this feature on Kuro5hin, a user should be able to remove an item from a favorite/bookmark list.

If we are going to do bookmarks, I'd like to see some of the ideas discussed in response to my post on Peer to Peer Lessons for Community Publishing.

User bookmarks might be able to provide the key meta information that we've been searching for.

If/when someone starts developing this, I'd love to see it go through a design review.

Great, Marco Molinari whipped up a module with features similar to kuro5hin and the module is now in cvs under contributions/module and named "hotlist". Woo hoo
