Hiya,

Just popped out a quick blog site for my mother (who I desperately wanted to see get off of myspace, where she has been blogging for awhile).

Using core 6.8 with FCKeditor, PathAuto, Weather, and Subscriptions modules.

Styles, templates, and any other tweaks are my own.

Will be trying out some of the various calendar modules soon, as she wants something that she can fill out with some devotional type stuff and a painting by my pops as the header area ( picture a regular wall calendar with some image on top and cally on the bottom ).. will figure that out later tho. Also need to optimize for IE<7.0 browsers.. but meh.. later ;)

Very nice looking site Steve.
Seems your quite the css pro too.

I love how the header sticks to the top and the content flows underneath.

I wouldn't call myself a css pro, but definitely dangerous with the skills now hehe.

I originally had the header fixed to top because the primary links were located there, but as ma continued to pour content into the site, the primary links font size just kept shrinking and shrinking to accommodate all the new linkage. So last week I moved all links down into the violet left sidebar instead.

Now I really gotta get that ubercart store half running soon!
