For me it works only, if I'm loged in as User #1.

I have the same issue - it only works for User-1. Any idea how to allow other users?

I think I found the answer:

This module creates new permissions which need to be added in the IMCE profile settings (Site Configuration >> IMCE >> choose configuration profile >> Directories).

I worked when I created a new IMCE profile and granted permissions to add/remove directories.
