When "Unlimited" selected, show only one field instance

Just a usability thing, when "Unlimited" selected, CCK currently spits out two field instances and then the "Add more" button. For many fields, though, one is often enough but not always. But I've discovered that it kind of intimidates (or confuses) users when they see a big long list of (for example) to and from dates - instead of one and a button. "Do I have to fill them both in?" is a common question... "No." But sometimes for advanced things, we do want extra options.
