Not really sure if this is a bug or not so posting it in support request

I have facing two problems with action views & taxonomy (free tagging enabled)

1. When I add tags to 2 or more nodes via action views multiple terms are created. So if I tag 5 nodes with a new tag "windows" I end up with 5 terms with different term ids and same name. Is there a way to avoid this ?

2. Adding a new tag to one or more nodes which are already tagged works well but deleting or replacing a tag does not work. Anybody else facing this problem ?

This Module will no longer be maintained (shocker) as this functionality is mainly present in VBO and thats what we started using internally.
