I really prefer Mollom over Akismet and Drupal over Wordpress but if there's one thing Wordpress has it down it is the management of comments. Two features pretty much make it perfect: 1. You can see preview of the comment text on the listings page which saves loads of time even when managing more than three comments. 2. You can check the action (report, accept, delete) on each comment and then execute them all at once.

I think the Mollom project would get much better feedback if it was possible for administrators to easily mark the sort of action a comment requries en mass. Judicious use of Ajax to preview comments or more detailed feedback options would be great but generally even a few lines generally make it possible to judge the comment effectively. And of course, Mollom would contribute massively to the usability of Drupal as a blogging platform.

Would you care to attach/upload some screenshots so we can better understand and visualize what you'd like to see happen? (If you are on the Mac, Skitch is a great tool to take screenshots.)

Note that Mollom adds a couple of mass-comment operations. See the screenshots at http://mollom.com/tutorials/drupal.

See links below to two different versions of the interface. (Created by Jing on Windows.)

Wordpress 2.7

I was aware of the mass-comment operations provided by Mollom (and Akismet before that) but if you just have a long list of comment titles you pretty much have to open each of them which gets really time-consuming.

Changing the comment admin interface or adding ajax-y stuff would be a great issue for you to submit for Drupal core! Yes, WordPress's admin screens are nice, but it also shouldn't be the responsibility of one module to change it all around.
