I've installed the audio.module and done testing prior to site launch, but unfortunately a problem has emerged with the included Flash audio player in the audio.module .
*Most* of the time now in Firefox the flash player refuses to play the audio file, instead playing half a second and cutting out instantly, before resetting to stopped mode displaying the play button.
The very same audio files are played by the Flash player fine in IE and Opera.
Any ideas would be *greatly* appreciated!

Sorry only just saw the reply
I'm quite new to all this working with developers etc in this kind of website, but I'm just filing an issue now. The issue thread can be found here http://drupal.org/node/35492
I just tried my website in Firefox on my work computer, which displays the same behavior as my home machine (eg working fine in IE but not Firefox - stopping half a second after pressing play on any of the flash Play buttons)
Audio.module issue
Probably asking in the wrong place but...
I have a similar problem at:

Have only got MacOSX boxes
Run Firefox or old M$IE
Same effect both browsers
If you find out please tell me as this is a disaster for us...
Audio issues - not the module
Our issue was that the 2.0.52 distro of Apache for Mac OS X had a bug that limited downloads to 64k.
Fixed in release 2.0.55 of Apache for Mac OSX 10.4
Perhaps mediafrenzy has a similar problem?
audio is working for us quite well now...
I'm pretty sure it's not
I'm pretty sure it's not that for me, as I'm able to stream/play the very same audio files with other browsers no problems.... but hey I could be wrong ::baffled::
+1 same problem on IE6 and Firefox
The little rotating star icon replces the play icon for about half a sec then nothing
