Once the comment is posted (both by Anonymous or Anuthenticated users), the comment will appear, but the ajax loading grey bar will keep on being displayed forever.

Please, check your javascript error console. If there is error "delete_click is not defined", just wait for 1.6, I've already fixed this tiny crap.

Yes, indeed the javascript console in Firefox shows some errors, one of which is "delete_click is not defined".

If you attach the latest (1.6) version, I can test it on my live site.

In 1.6 the same problem.
Please try example on funsochi.ru - ajax bar keeps displaying forever even after the comment has been added

At this point, I can say that 5.x will work for 80% of sites. For 20%, it needs to be rewritten as 6.x been, in other words, need to make a backport from 6.x. Sorry, but I have no time and motivation to do it right now, but I'm open for your help. Please, submit your patches an I'll review and commit them as soon as they'll ready. Otherwise, you should wait or just upgrade to 6.x.
